A fast track programme for young teachers who aspire to become middle leaders.
We are taking on 3 participants, two from Holmesdale and one from our Federated school, who will receive a structured leadership developement programme which will encourage them to take responsibility for the development of skills required. They will then develop these skills further through undertaking a project based around a specific area of the school improvement plan. Throughout the programme each mentee will be mentored by a senior leader who will oversee their projects. The programme began in January 2009 and will run for 10 terms, ending in summer 2010. This is intended to give the school an opportunity to develop and retain middle leaders.
