Developing our ITE work further, this year our ITE Student Voice helped train pupils on the school council in a local primary school in observing in lessons.
We invited the school council (years 3 to 6) of a local, feeder primary school into CPGS for the afternoon. We paired 2 primary pupils to one of our pupils and they observed in a variety of lessons in CPGS. They used observation sheets designed by Newbridge Primary School and used our classes as a practice run. The pupils then spent a lesson discussing the information they had collected. Our pupils then spent an afternoon in Newbridge Primary School observing primary school classes and helping the primary pupils with their observation skills.
